About the Legacy Program

The Legacy Program is the official ATA instructor certification track, created by Eternal Grand Master H. U. Lee. Where Leadership is about stepping up inside a class, Legacy is about learning to run one: the biomechanics behind every technique, classroom management, the psychology of teaching different kinds of learners, and the business and leadership skills instructors rely on. It is for dedicated students ready to go beyond assisting and start training to teach, whether that means a future at Element ATA or applying the same skills in law, medicine, business, or any other career.

Who is eligible for the Legacy Program?
The Legacy Program is open by invitation to dedicated, advanced students who want to keep growing beyond the standard curriculum. Talk to your instructor if you are interested. We are happy to explain what the program involves and help you work toward an invitation.
Is the Legacy Program only for students who want to teach professionally?
No. While Legacy is the official ATA instructor certification track, the leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills it builds apply far beyond the training floor, in careers like law, medicine, business, and beyond. Some Legacy students go on to teach at Element ATA; many simply want to keep growing.
How is the Legacy Program different from the Leadership Program?
Leadership is about stepping up inside a class: assisting instructors, mentoring newer students, and building public speaking and leadership skills through hands-on practice. It is open to committed students of any age or belt level. Legacy is about learning to run a class: the biomechanics behind technique, classroom management, teaching psychology, and curriculum design, on the official ATA path to instructor certification. Many Legacy students come up through Leadership first, but the two are separate, invitation-based tracks.
