What ATA Tigers Parents Say

"Our 5-year-old has only been taking class for a few months and already we notice major improvements in his strength and coordination. He is focused and attentive in class and that has also affected his life beyond taekwondo. It's great exercise, the teachers are really good with young kids, and our child is internalizing some of the principles discussed in class. He loves it! And so do we!"

ATA Tigers FAQ

What exactly happens in an ATA Tigers class?
Classes are 30 minutes and packed with age-appropriate training: warm-up exercises, basic kicks and blocks, partner games that build cooperation, Life skill training (like respect, honesty, or communication), and traditional Form (Poom Sae) training. Every session is structured and engaging.
My 4-year-old has trouble sitting still. Will they be able to handle class?
That is exactly why our ATA Tigers program exists. Our instructors are specially trained to work with young children who have lots of energy and shorter attention spans. The class format keeps things moving, engaging, and varied so even the wiggliest kids stay focused.
Are the classes too physical for a 4-year-old?
Not at all. At this age, the focus is on fun, fundamental movement, and building basic coordination. There is no contact sparring in the Tigers program – everything is safe, supervised, and appropriate for little bodies.
